Brown to announce Benefit Claims get tough!
There is no way you can get off Incapacity benefit once on it, a complaint is all you need to have the examining doctor reprimanded regardless of whether the complaint is true! The company doing all this specifically instructs it doctors to AWARD benefit to avoid complaints, with Government acquiescence, thereby circumventing all the crap about getting people off and back into work. Less than 1% are finally returned to the work place after all the charade. Unemployment Benefits can only be paper managed: there is NO adequate fraud squad, and when going to court they only prosecute the big cases cos so much paper is needed to visit. The CPS has been instructed and the sentencing guidelines say NO JAIL! So whats the point of it all. A sentence to repay 10,000 at £5.00 per week out of benefit is a joke! Reassessing incapacity benefit claims might be a good thing as long as it doesn't make it near impossible for those who are genuine.As we all know there are numerous people out there claiming benefits when their only disability is a glass back.How many times have we heard"why has he got a walking stick?""Because his invalidity claim is due". |
