I hate this time of year, getting colder, windier, wetter - no more camps planned, everything in the garden coming to an end - dark nights - busy at work and then worst of all ******mas- thank god for football and sky sports to keep me entertained and page 3 of the Sun to cheer me up.

Am going to pursue my hobby of fellwalking a little over the coming months, provided the weather is ok - hopefully 3 peaks next week and a blast in the lakes sometime in November. I miss the winter holidays we used to have before having to use time off work for childcare

I don't really like this time of year either,cos when im working,i go to bed in the dark & get up in the bloody dark(Well in a few weeks time)

Ive really taken to this walking lark,but its only around the race course.When i first did the whole circuit the other week i was so proud of myself

i actually like this time of year, i'm not really a hot weather person, so i enjoy the cooler temps and the change of season, and seeing the beautiful colours on the trees
