wow i'm kinda surprised to hear that  well i for one am interested, guess im the only one. it must be a canadian trait to take an interest in a sporting event even though we are not involved (probably cause in canada we suck at pretty much everything except for hockey lol). anyway, i find it really cool and exciting to watch all the different teams

We used to play cricket as kids, when it was a proper working class sport (and thus as a nation we were good at it).
The lamposts were the wickets.

Threads should be unravelled, thats my opinion.
Only should stay totally on topic if that is the true purpose of the thread, or if going off topic could hurt someones feelings...but if no harm done (and it is on my watch - ie while peeps are off holidaying gallivanting about the place) then offtopic is ok so long as the thread has unravelled that way
Thats my opinion on the subject anyway

Well Euro 2008 is boring anyway without of the British sides being in it, so in a way we havent gone off the subject as such just trying to find summat a bit more interesting to watch than Euro 2008

I thought the goalie was great after the game,he went to each of the Croatians to console them before going with his team mates to celebrate.
Wish id still been over there last night,i bet it was one hell of a party.
