i know it's not the typical sexiness you find today and people probably find it weird looking now, but i simiply love that style i love fred astaire and chorus girls and all those musicals and anything to do with art deco, the jazz age, george gershwin, new york city, etc.  by the way jo, it was all done on a sound stage with huge fans blowing on the girls haha, it was filmed in 1933, but if you look at the costumes you can see that some of the girls blouses are almost see-through
