Hi there and greetings....I'm sure I know you by another name..Esca....perhaps?
Evie
Hi there honey, you'll like it here, no politics no spam just good old fashioned friendship, go for it
Woodfold
Well thanks both. I have only just registered and logged in, had a cup of tea and a couple of scones and come back to say How Do. You're right Baldrick I was using another monika but I found it was so unusual that it came up easy on a Google search. I, like Sweet Pea and Evie am a fugitive from the mighty American Dollar. If I am as happy here as I was on my last site I will be well pleased. Thanks for your welcome. Wow I just love your Smilie Sheet.

Wow - this is some site I must say. I've only been here five minutes and I've got another Grand Daughter and met up with my old salty mate Popi. I noticed on another thread, welcoming Sweet Pea I think, that someone wanted Sooty to come across. Well, I was in touch with him just before I shifted and I gave him the site URL. Nothing else I can do, but I too hope he'll be here soon. I also asked him to clear Sweet Pea's data from the old site just as he had done with mine. Hopefully the e-mail addresses will now be history. I thought I had told Selkie I was coming over but if I didn't I am sorry because I intended to. Oh brother I just love these Smilies - little things pleasing little minds I suppose.

Hello Woodfold!
I'm not following you, honestly
Well maybe just a little
Woodfold
Hi Jamie - It's great to see you here as well. Moving from one place where you don't feel comfortable to another where the chances are you will is sometimes called emigration. Once you arrive you are then an immigrant - so like me you are now an official immigrant from American business. Good luck and just enjoy yourself - I know I will.
Bravo
ey up mate, how do?
Welcome

I said that in a Yorkshire accent because I saw you were from South Yorkshire, saying 'how do' made me think of Gracie Fields, then I saw your birth year, so thought you might enjoy this (sorry if you don't like her):
hardly!!! I don't look up to many people in my life, I am way too much of a bad assed attitude rebel, but I look up to you, I would be happy you come to you to ask for advise or your opinion
most clever people are up there own asses but you have shown you are not only clever and worldly but a true gent and I for one am very pleased I have met you in the cyber world

Thanks Woodfold Although I don't think I've been an immigrant before
I've moved to where the chat & chatters are. Ignoring other concerns you need others to talk to, and for various reasons there seems to be people leaving or winding down each day on the other forum, which is a shame as I really enjoyed it.

Hellooo Woodfold! It's nice to have something of the garden here to keep each other company!!
Seems we have fallen in with a great crowd...I shall have to wait until Thursday to really join in as I am working until then but shall pop in from time to time.
Sooo nice to be away from that snakepit.

Thanks for the video Bravo I appreciated it. There's only one thing - Gracie Fields came from Lancashire, Rochdale actually so coming from Yorkshire it makes it a bit odd. The War of the Roses hasn't finished completely yet over here.
