Hamilton pleased at pole in BelgiumLewis Hamilton struggled to find words for his euphoria on Saturday after roaring to pole position at one of the sport’s most exhilarating circuits.
"Here, being probably the most incredible circuit for me on the grand prix calendar, when you put a lap together that’s clean, smooth, flowing...it really feels incredible," said McLaren’s championship leader.
"You have to make sure that you have the right car and the right set-up and it’s easy to push too much in one corner and struggle on the way out of another.
"I can’t explain to you just how great it is," added the Briton, whose favourite circuit remains Monaco’s far slower street layout.
