Hasselbaink retires

Former Leeds United striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has announced his retirement from professional football.  

The Dutchman, 36, scored 42 goals in 87 appearances for Leeds, who he joined in 1997 from Boavista when George Graham was in charge at Elland Road.

He has decided to retire after leaving Cardiff City at the end of last season
