Leeds V SouthendLeeds play Southend tonight and are hoping to make it 3 wins on the bounce.
Veteran striker Dougie Freedman – a vital influence during Leeds' run to the League One play-off final last season – is among Southend's group of injured players, and the Shrimpers are on a run of six games without a win.
Southend lost 1-0 to struggling Yeovil Town on Saturday, but Grayson said: "We'd be confident regardless of who we're playing, because we've won two games on the trot. I'm not particularly bothered about Southend's problems, but if they help us then so be it.
"It doesn't matter whether you're playing top or bottom – if you don't work hard then you don't win football matches. That's what we've done in the last two games.
"We've been hard to beat and we've looked organised, and as the games have developed we've shown our quality as well.
"I said on day one, when I walked into the club, that the talent is here and that the players have the quality to get results. I had a belief that I could make them better and the players also had the belief that they could produce performances."
Andy Robinson was carrying a minor calf strain at the end the victory over Peterborough but should feature tonight.
Leeds could be without captain Frazer Richardson for a second game as he continues to recover from a thigh injury.

im starting to like grayson he doesnt seem to change the starting line up much wich is a good thing and the players have to impress him before the get selected lets hope this form continues and leeds can kick on and push for promotion
