MOD take back compensationI meant to post this at the weekend,but forgot 
I heard the other day about a soldier who was badly injured(think he lost his legs)whilst serving his country and was awarded £10,000 compensation from the MOD.On appeal the soldier got the award raised to £40 something thousand.The very next day,he was told that he couldn't keep the difference in the award as he wasn't entitled 
How are these soldiers supposed to try to get their lives back together?He will have many months of hospital visits,maybe even years and he will need his home adapting to suit his needs.............this extra money would have helped with all this,i think its shocking to pay the injured such a pittance..............if he had been a bomber or rapist etc and had been locked up and then appealed saying he hadnt done the crime he would have got hundreds of thousands.......................it bloody stinks
