My Mum on her wedding day

I put this piccy on a restoration thread on the genealogy forum I use.

It was in a bit of a state and I think they have done a really good job with it.

Isn't it good!

I have two photos I had done yesterday, the other one with Dad and Mum with the wedding cake.

It will be their 50th anniversary in January next year. I thought I would have them both fixed so I can print them out and get frames as a pressie.

This was the other one

I did a photo up of my parents wedding:

I fixed it first, then I made it into colour.  Made a video of it:

Absolutely brilliant, makes you wonder what on earth they do to restore them so well.

Your parents will be absolutely delighted with those
GenieDi

How clever is that. I'm no good at graphic stuff.

They don't appear to have had an album and I just borrowed loads of piccys of family things years back when I started my family tree research.

There was just those two and another one of my mum very similar to the one fixed.
Bravo

My parents didn't have an album either.

In fact, on that photo above, I had to edit out a bit that said 'proof - please return'
GenieDi

You did really well then!!

I've been updating my sons "baby book" printing out all his school photos, there is one around here somewhere with proof right across it, he was off sick when they arrived at school, he had a horrid teacher that year and we never got it in time to order.

I will be on the hunt for that one this week to complete his school ones!
Bravo

Send me it and I'll remove the 'proof' part for you (free btw - I only charge for major work, little stuff I do for nowt).
GenieDi

Oh that is kind of you, as soon as it comes to light I'll send it.
