new david gray cd!!!well, as some of you may know david gray is my all time favourite singer... i am pretty much obsessed with his music... i have all of his albums and listen to them daily on my commute... i even bought a string quartet tribute album which is covers of his songs done by a string quartet.... anyway, he has a new cd out today in north america (think it's been out a week in the uk). i had already pre-ordered the delux 2-cd set online (with one cd with live concert recordings), but i was walking past a record shop today at lunch and couldn't resist going in and buying the "regular cd" so i can listen to in the way home... and then i can keep one cd in the car and one in the house lol... can't wait to listen to it!!! woooooohooooooo

i have listened to it 3 times now and i absolutely love it love it love it!! the annie lennox duet is amazing and apparently it is going to be the second single (after fugitive) youtube doesn't do it justice though

Cant say i like him, his music always seems boring to me! I might have a listen tho if i get a chance just coz you have set such a great review on it chrissy!

lol... well yeah he's not flashy... but there is just something about his music and lyrics, etc. that is very subtle and it strikes a chord with me... it's the kind of thing that grows on you... anyway, i've been waiting 4 years for a new album and "my boy" did not disappoint me
sorry, i dont usually go on about him, but its just that in north america nobody really knows that much about him, so sometimes i feel that i am my own little "david gray world"...
