Primeval

Another favourite of mine started a new series.

ITV had a Twitter experiment going on while it was broadcast, a bit of fun for saturday evening, you can tell I don't get out much can't you.
lil eva

hey me neither Di

Love Primeval myself and it was a treat last night to see it back again, helps to make up for the loss of Wild at Heart on a Sunday night.

boy, what a Saturday night tonight, Copy Primeval on to the hard drive, watch Dr Who, turn to ITV and watch Britains Got Talent then watch the copied Primeval. Now that's what i call a plan.
GenieDi

Oh Sabbi, you have it all worked out, good on you!!

I thought Primeval was on at 6.55 only realised 10 minutes before it started at 6.15 it was different, it's a good un.

I have no way to record anything at the moment, DVD recorder up the shoot
seafish

well i like britains got talent

Britains Got Talent was most entertaining tonight, the father and son who did the riverdance routine were priceless, i laughed and laughed at their antics and the dance group Flawless were fabulous as as well. Without a doubt for me the biggest surprise of the night was the 58 year old Scottish spinster, boy oh boy, what a wonderful voice she has. I'm looking forward to next Saturday already. Di, we deciced to keep Primeval till Sunday lunchtime and watch it then.
seafish

I've given up with x factor and all similar programmes now, glad I didn't give the plot away on Primeval!!

Primeval was pretty good this week, although they have killed off the main character recently I feel it is still a strong show.

I agree with you Di,i have to admit though that i was dubious when Cutter met his wateroo, however, this new guy is fitting in well and i like the comical bit in him too. Yep it's been a false alarm, Primeval is still great.
Evie

My 2 absolutely love primevel, kids are strange these days, i would probably have pooped my pants when i was there age watching that

ooh another good episode tonight, preview for next weeks looks a bit odd though!

Quite liking Quinn, don't think Cutter would have been so gun ho.

Once again i agree Di, Quinn, i think is going to be a real star here, i do like the way he dives into everything and thinks only then about how he is going to save himself and everybody else. I was mad when i read i  the press this week that it's finishing because it's very expensive to make an episode. ITV need to cut back and Primeval is a casualty of that. The only good news is that Wild At Heart has been reprieved for now.

Sabbi I have also read denials by ITV on dumping Primeval.

If there is a problem making it because of the cost I hope they can maybe go into partnership with other companies to split the cost.

I have noticed programmes in the past made in association with american companies and also made by independent companies.

So fingers crossed.

Oh i do hope you are right Di, i love Primeval and would hate to see it go. I did read last week in one of the papers that an American movie company was showing an interest in turning Primeval into a film. The big question being, will they go with a proven cast or as usual will they want to Americanize it with big  name stars.
GenieDi

Last nights episode was a bit different but enjoyable still.

I have just managed to get the first two seasons on DVD for under £10 at Amazon, between me purchasing and it being dispatched they had knocked another £1 off!
