I found out today that my 7yr old grandson is being bullied at school along with 2 of his friends.
Kai ended up with a bruised cheek bone,1 friend has a black eye and the other little boy had a skipping rope put around his neck!
Kelly has been up to school today and the teacher said he was shocked!!!!How on earth can this be allowed to happen and the kids have marks on them and the teachers don't know or suspect anything?
We know that it goes on and my heart goes out to the kids being bullied,but when its your own it brings it home to you just how serious this problem is!
I cannot remember all this sort of thing when i was at school(although it probably did go on but to a lesser degree),but then again we were all frightened of the teachers and the headmaster..........the mere threat of the cane was enough to make you think twice.
I think that the schools should beable to punish the kids if they do wrong in school,especially if the parents aren't bothered.

Bullying was around in my day at school, and kids are the most bloody evil creatures going at times. However, our bullying wasn't nowhere near as physically viscious as todays - the reason being you would get the cane/clip round the earhole etc..

Bring back corporal punishment

It would break my heart if any of my kids were to be ever bullied

I was so upset today Andy when i found out about Kai.........he's not soft,but a gentle quiet kid and i just wanted to go down there and sort it,but of course what can i do that Kelly can't.
It just makes my blood boil,that the bullies parents aren't bloody bothered!

oh no anne.. that is heart-breaking... i feel so sad for any kids that are bullied.. the jerks doing it have no idea how it is making them feel inside grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
