spike was sending me a message..my little spike has been drooling the last couple of days... i thought maybe i should take him to the vet if he was still doing it this morning as i thought maybe he had a tooth problem (in fact i already called and had an appointment booked)... my little nina died of a tooth condition that made her teeth grow in at an angle, so i am extra paronoid about these things... anyway, i got up early this morning to see how he was doing... and i see on the floor just outside his cage there is a little piece of paper with NO written in capital letters... it was from some cardboard or packaging of some kind that i guess the boys were playing with and chewing... i guess he was trying to tell me something... well he got his way, i cancelled the appointment after i saw him and found that his fur under his mouth was all white and soft with no signs of drool.. i will keep an eye on him, i checked his teeth myself and they seem fine... but i just thought seeing that NO sign was so funny

Stranger things happen in this world Chrissie and anyway, little Spike probably did'nt fancy a trip to the Vet for himself and he also wanted to point out, just how much money you could save by not taking him there. Actually sis, when i come to think about it, he's a clever little Spike, is'nt he?

They are all well sis. I don't know if i told you, Minstral got out some weeks ago when she was in season and stayed out overnight, came back the next day PREGNANT of course. Anyway Chrissie, she only had 2 kittens, one of which died when 3 days old. Dusty, the remaining kitten is now 11 weeks old last Thursday, boy does she keep us on our toes. We're too old for all this running around after a kitten but we love her anyway and she's here to stay. That, Chrissie takes the total to 8 cats.
