stupid parentsso there is this lady at the pool who insists on bringing her 2 boys (aged about 8 and 9) into women's changing rooms.. i've seen them a couple of times (once when i was having a shower and i didn't want to turn around and let them see me naked) and then another time a heard a mother tell her daughter (who was also about 8 years old) to wait to get changed until the boys left.... i dont think it's right for them to be in the women's room, especially when there is a family change room with individual stalls for showering and changing.... so this morning i saw them again.... so i said "excuse me, there is a family change room that you can go to", she said "i'm allowed to be here"... anyway we got into a little exchange and she left (and i stared her down when she was leaving, so she didn't look at me lol).. when i left i complained to the front desk, so hopefully they will change the policy, cause right now they say it's at the parents discretion... i don't think it's right there comes a certain age when they shouldn't be in the women's room imo

I should have thought that about 8-9 is an age when they could manage to change themselves, unless of course, she's still breastfeeding them.
(I'm only 6...can I be in your dressing room Aunty Chrissy?)

I would have used the family changing room. I wouldn't trust children that age on their own changing.Theres too many perverts around.

yes, it made sense to me too di, but she said there were too many people in there... huh? the women's room was completely full! and she had her boys showering in the nude and undressing in front of all the women and girls... it seemed kinda creepy to me and i'm sure the boys felt akward too.... the family rooms have separate little rooms for them to go into...

Probably the woman has aspirations to be a Naturist. Some people have the opinion that there is nothing wrong with the human body and that we shouldn't be embarassed at being seen naked. However, I think it is wrong for young children at 8 or 9 to be included in a changing room which is not intended for their particular gender. If the woman wishes to get undressed in front of her children in her own home then that is her choice. Bringing that choice into the public domain isn't right unless she has the approval of all the other people who are using the facility. There are what are considered to be "normal" standards of behaviour and this woman has chosen to ignore these. The relevant authority in the Swimming Baths should give her a warning before excluding her if she breaks the rules again.
