Alan,you have had a lot to deal with the last few years,but hopefully now you have your own place,you will beable to sort yourself out.
You are away from the unrest with your family and can make your own home and make it a cozy one.One where you feel safe and where you can reflect on good things that have happened to you instead of the negative things.
You have to ask yourself why you drink like you do and then ask yourself if it helps!Once you make your mind up that you want to stop,you will do,but be prepared that you may need to seek help from your doctor.If you ask for help and get it,then please do as they advise you.There is light at the end of the tunnel Alan x

awwww alan hunny, don't be sad.... we all drink a little too much from time to time, it helps us to relax, but if you find that it is interfering in your life and you don't feel good about yourself because of it, then anne is right, you should go and talk to somebody.... but please dont feel like you are not as worthy as anybody else here...or anybody else in the world for that matter.. we all love you here alan

i want to thankyou all for been there for me and your all good friends of mine ..bravo them kind words have made me think and im fell a lot better its just that somthing sets me off then i have a drink im not to bad at the moment but i dont want to go there i do no what drink can do i thought i cold handle it well i can up to point then my mind just gowes blank i will over come it ,just need time every thing happend so fast moving so fast bills coming in etr but i hope i can cope with it .. like to thankyou all one again xx

Very sound advice there from you all for Alan.

It does get hard at times for me, I know I can start my counseling again, have you thought of getting some practical help with all your bills etc.

it is very difficult to start from scratch my daughter has just got a flat near to me and money wise she is really struggling, I've been tying to see what help she can get with it all, she had a mencap adviser before for help in the workplace and they were brilliant, unfortunately the funding was cut and she lost her.
