Walsall 1 Leeds 0Leeds failed to continue their fine recent run of form as they fell to a 1-0 defeat at Walsall.
United had enjoyed three straight victories but stuttered to a disappointing defeat at the Bescot Stadium.
Simon Grayson's side were stunned inside the opening nine minutes by a goal scored by Walsall striker Troy Deeney who rose unmarked to glance home a cross from Sofiene Zaaboub.
Leeds took time to settle and created very few chances before the break. Only Bradley Johnson raised spirits as he found the net when lashing home a pass from Jonathan Douglas but his effort was ruled offside.
Jonathan Douglas did test Walsall goalkeeper Clayton Ince with a low shot early in the second half and a late penalty claim from substitute Robert Snodgrass was waved away as Leeds threw men forward late on.

Went to the game and it was an awful performance, gave the ball away so many times and no clues up front.
If we cant beat Walsall then we can forget promotion, we are now 9 points behind second place, so if anything it will be play-offs again but to be honest, cant see us making them.
We are in League 1 or lower for life.
