West Ham V Millwall TroubleHow appalling that this sort of trouble has reared it's ugly head again in football!!!
I know that their rivalry is serious business down there,but it is really disturbing to see.
Then for the Millwall manager to go on SSN and say "it wasn't our fans that were involved,Millwall fans are good fans"  Were the chuff has he been?????Or is he saying that West Ham were fighting themselves & throwing bricks at their own fans!!!!!!!!!
I would have more respect if he he had been straight and condoned the violence!

Don't these arseholes realise there is a World Cup bid in the process?
And according to SSN, one of the players was deemed to incite the crowd - maybe a very lengthy ban and a loss of extravagant wages would be a lesson for him - difficult when clubs get punished for this because it affects a lot of innocent well behaved supporters - would like to see prison sentences and lifetime bans for the offenders.
But, the british media are our worst enemy when it comes to football hooliganism - they really exaggerate it - I was in Portugal during Euro 2004, when SSN filmed the 'riot' on the strip in Albufeira. What was really a typical bit of a brawl outside one/two bars was made to look like a mass riot by use of clever camera work.
We don't tend to hear the things that go on in Holland and Italy which over the years have included shootings and hijacked trains - we would be banned from world footballl for ever. And don't start me on the bloody turks

Yeah.... SURE Millwall fans werent involved in the scenes last night... who the HELL is he kidding!? You could see that they were! Now lets see what "punishment" is handed out for both teams.. i know what would happen if it had have been Leeds United!  .... So much for the World cup bid..

Yes i know what they'd have done if it had been Leeds too...............the bloody lot of em want locking up!
There was adequate CCtv so a lot of the ring leaders could probably be identified...........British football has no place for this and to put the World cup bid at risk isn't on!

it wasn't all ticket for the west ham fans
millwall only had the lower tier of the trevor brooking stand with the top tier left empty while hundreds were outside fighting
millwall fans arrived at two train stations
there wasn't a police officer in the stadium
west ham look like they could be rejected from the competition
west ham could play games behind closed doors

just a point though...and i think its a valid one......while the west ham fans were on the pitch taunting the millwall fans not one millwall fan entered the field of play
