What about this then????An elderly woman lost her £12,000 savings after accidentally throwing the money away into her wheelie bin.
Her daughter raised the alarm, prompting officials at a waste transfer facility in Lancing, West Sussex, to direct 14 binmen to sift through mounds of waste in search of the bundles of £50 notes.
Waste operations were suspended for up to 45 minutes while the search was conducted to help reunite the cash with the unnamed owner, who was described as "very confused".......................... i don't know about confused ,i'd be pi**ed off

wow, that's amazing... i can't believe they found it! lucky lady... hope she learns her lesson... i'd hate to be one of the people that had to sift through the waste though
