Yet more data lostReports of a memory stick being found in a pub car park with usernames, passwords etc to Government Gateway computers.
James Purnell, Minister for some sleazy department leaves confidential documents on a train.
He's apologised so that's alright then!.
Will he be prosecuted as was that guy a few weeks ago who did the same?
Don't hold your breath.

It brings to mind that old song "When will they ever learn?" I suppose one redeemiing feature is that this time the passwords and user names are encrypted.

Are they losing them or selling them?
Should be a mandatory prison sentence for this type of loss.

The pub carpark in question is in Cannock which is about 7 miles away from here
I know the exact pub they are on about, its near a small retail park and although Ive never been in the pub, we have been loads of times to the retail park, its called Cannock Orbital.
I couldnt believe it when I read it in our local paper
