skyblue, if you enjoyed 'The Lord of the Rings' Trilogy, have you ever read 'The Balgariad' by David Eddings? they are fabulous books, 5 in all tell the story. After a number of years he released 'The Mallorean' again 5 books, they follow on from the first five and the are also fabulous. I have to say i enjoyed them much more than LOTR because the excitement never leaves the pages, whereas LOTR had long descriptive pages, that at times i found boring, not so with David Eddings books. If you have'nt read them, i suggest you do and i'm 100% sure you won't be sorry.
