The headteacher of one prestigious school is now clamping down on perma-tanned pupils, begging parents to ensure their offspring tone down the tan: “We ask for your support in ensuring girls do not come to school looking varying shades of orange,” Carol Robinson said in a letter.

Head of 300-year-old Baines School in Lancashire, Robinson blamed so-called ‘Jaffa fakes’ such as Jordan and Jodie Marsh, adding: “We have young girls coming in to school, 11 and 12, that feel pressured to go out and daub themselves in this orange. Those celebrities are not 12 and 13. They are all a lot older and that is fine, they are not in school.
But there are graver implications, too. You don’t need a doctorate in criminal psychology to know why pre-teens trying to look older than their years can be ill-advised.
What do you think? Should girls – or, indeed, boys – be allowed to wear fake tan to school? Does it send out the wrong message? Or is it just a harmless way of expressing themselves?

Let them get on with it, remember the daft things we did at their age, we look back and laugh at it and when we tell our kids, they look at us and think, " tossers, how embarrassing, dont tell me mates" but alas your parents had photos, so just let them live, and teachers teach

Teachers forget their remit, they are there to teach, but they then think they should be the power, it is a socialist lefty thing, go to any university and all the lecturers are lefty idiots spouting their beliefs rather than keeping to teaching kids about what they need to know, rather than having all this P.C. clap trap rammed down their throats.
