this is the room in my house that i have devoted to my chinchillas... i let them run free in this room (i close the door at night so they can't run around the rest of the house) during the day they like to sleep in dark places, so i have created all sorts of little places for them to sleep in boxes, etc.  they like to perch on rocks or bricks, so i have placed them around the room and i have 3 separate dust baths for them... and of course they chew all the time, so i have all sorts of wood everywhere (but they still go for the baseboards, go figure)  lol i know, i'm crazy, but i love the little furry guys... can't imagine how spoilt my kids would be if i had any haha

haha... and here is my collection of littlest pet shop chinchillas... haha i didnt know they had so many different ones, so i started buying them on ebay

My cousins used to have one, they are adorable little creatures.  Looks like yours are very lucky indeed to have such a loving home

Wished I had a room like that which I could devote to my rabbit.  He has one of these dog cage things but I am worried it might be a bit small for him - he can stretch out in it but cant run about much.  Obviously when the weather is ok he goes outside and has the garden to run about in but when its wet he is just stuck in this cage.  I am wondering if it is cruel to keep it in this cage, I would hate to think he is unhappy.

I dont really want to put him outside in his hutch cos its cold but was thinking about getting another rabbit to keep him company and they could snuggle up to each other in the cold weather.

thanks tony

awwww josie, i'm sure your little guy is happy, he must be used to his surroundings.... i just know that chinchillas need a lot of exercise and even though they have the big room, they still run on their wheel a lot at night.  i don't think it's the same for rabbits as i've never seen wheels for them, so they must not need the same amount of exercise
